After July 1, 2018, the Boards of Elections of Alamance and Guilford County were to immediately transfer the voter registration records of citizens impacted by the 2018 Official County Line to the adjoining county’s board of elections. Properties with boundary lines running through homes will be evaluated on an individual basis by the Alamance County Board of Elections Office to determine voter registration eligibility within Alamance County. The Board of Elections will contact owners for assistance in the determination of eligibility. Afterward, the registered voters shall be transferred and validly registered to vote in the adjoining county.
